Prepare Files Before You Upload Them
Most online uploads come with measurable requirements — a maximum file size, an accepted format, pixel dimensions, an orientation, or an aspect ratio. ImageToSend inspects your file against the requirements you enter, then points you to the right tool to fix what does not match. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Check, fix, download, then submit
ImageToSend helps you prepare a file before you upload it. You run the check, apply any fix, and download the result — then you submit the file to the destination yourself. ImageToSend does not submit on your behalf.
Step 1
Check
Run File Preflight to compare your file against the measurable requirements you entered.
Step 2
Fix
Open the recommended ImageToSend tool and apply the fix to what does not match.
Step 3
Download
Download the prepared result from your browser to your device.
Step 4
Submit
Submit the file to the destination yourself. ImageToSend does not submit for you.
The kinds of requirements ImageToSend checks
Online destinations often state their upload rules as measurable values. File Preflight compares your file against the ones you enter:
- File size — a maximum in KB or MB (decimal units: 1 KB = 1,000 bytes).
- Format — accepted formats such as JPG, PNG, or WebP.
- Pixel dimensions — minimum or maximum width and height in pixels.
- Orientation — portrait, landscape, or square.
- Aspect ratio — a required ratio such as 3:4 or 35:45.
- Combining images — when several images must become one PDF.
ImageToSend does not keep a database of government, visa, school, employer, or third-party requirements. You enter the measurable requirements your destination has stated, and File Preflight reports honestly what matches, what needs a fix, and what only you can confirm. For real-world scenarios and which tool fits each one, see the Use Cases page.
Not sure which tool you need?
Check your file against the measurable requirements first. File Preflight inspects your file locally, separates what matches from what needs a fix, and recommends the right ImageToSend tool when something does not match.
It does not modify your file, and it does not guarantee any third party will accept it — it only compares against the requirements you enter.
Four Practical Tools
When File Preflight finds a mismatch, these are the tools that fix it. Each does one job, locally in your browser.
Smart Resizer
Target a file size and reduce image weight to help meet upload limits.
Open Smart ResizerImage Converter
Convert images between JPG, PNG, and WebP with local browser processing.
Open Image ConverterDocument Editor
Crop, rotate, and prepare document photos using common aspect ratios.

When you select a file in ImageToSend, it is loaded into your browser and processed on your device. ImageToSend does not intentionally upload or store your files on its servers for processing.

When a tool runs, your file stays in your browser. ImageToSend does not intentionally upload or store your files on its servers for processing, and there are no strict daily file limits.
